Yong Jin
Yong Jin is a multi-disciplined professional and has worked in the international finance and business management areas for more than 15 years. His experience includes assisting companies with developing and integrating international operations, strategic planning and development, mergers and acquisitions, leading large scale, global technology projects, and managing global clients.
China born and a U.S. citizen, Mr. Jin is fluent in Mandarin and has an extensive network of government, political, and business contacts throughout China and Asia. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of BA Consulting, one of China’s largest and most prominent real estate services companies.
China Market Entry Strategy and Implementation
• Jin has extensive experience in helping companies identify China market opportunities, evaluate and select the best entry options, and determine the appropriate operating control for China investment strategies.
• He has successfully assisted a number of prominent financial institutions with establishing and/or growing their China presence.
Strategy and Planning
• Jin has assisted many organizations in developing and achieving their global strategic goals.
• As a member of the Board of Directors for one of China’s largest real estate services companies, Jin successfully oversaw the development and implementation of a comprehensive growth strategy, resulting in revenue growth to over RMB 200 million.
• Jin assisted two Wall Street firms in formulating strategy, designing electronic trading protocols and developing the business process requirements to build an internet-based bond exchange.
Operations and Performance Improvement
• Both as an employee and as a consultant, Jin has assisted organizations in improving operational performance by increasing profitability, reducing the time required to execute transactions, and streamlining internal operations.
• Jin led the project for the largest U.S. purchaser of home mortgages to redesign the business processes and develop the business requirements to hedge portfolio risks in accordance with accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Jin successfully led the integration of non-U.S. securities clearance and settlement operations during the merger integration between two prominent brokerage companies.
Previous Positions
• Jin was a senior manager for Accenture working in their Capital Markets Strategy practice area assisting clients with a broad range of projects including international operations assessments.
• Prior to Accenture, he worked for several financial institutions and was responsible for global risk management and emerging market initiatives.
• Earlier in his career, Jin held a variety of technical positions assisting pharmaceuticals with new drug discovery.
